The Network Manager is responsible for the global data and voice networks including design, setup, maintenance and support. The individual also oversees the network and network security, IPT systems, video conferencing, and mobile phones. The individual works as a functional lead to manage and direct the global team on strategy and provides solutions for escalations.
Primary responsibilities:
In this position the highest level of integrity and professionalism is expected.
• Manage Global IT security and networking services (ASA, VPN, IPS, NAC, routers, switches, IPT, wireless infrastructure) including designing, implementing, maintaining and supporting the systems as required.
• Develop solutions for business units as needed. Gather requirements, document proposed solution, implement or oversee implementation of the solution.
• Support and manage networking team’s workload and projects
• Review the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Develop security risk assessments to identify the impact of vulnerabilities to the enterprise environment; recommend mitigating controls; and drive action plans to implement controls in a controlled time line.
• Develop documentation and reports pertaining to security and networking infrastructure.
Required skills:
• At least 10 years experience in IT; at least 4 years in a similar position (in a global enterprise).
• Proven experience in overseeing the design, implementation, and support of security, networking, and related products in a global fast paced environment.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience in Cisco networking and security (ASA, VPN, NAC, IPS) technologies (CCNP or CCIE certified)
• Experience in change management and ITIL processes
• Demonstrated leadership and personnel management skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Project management skills (Prince 2 Certified)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written – other languages a plus
• Must have an academic degree from an accredited university/college
• CCNP certification required
• Travel to perform work at other locations offices will be periodically required.
